Taking place on selected days from now until October at Buckingham Palace, groups can explore the evolution of royal portraiture at the Royal Collection Trust’s new exhibition, Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography.

Depicting works from the 1920s to the present day, the exhibition brings together more than 150 photographic prints, proofs and documents from the Royal Collection and the Royal Archives.

Groups will also experience a behind-the-scenes look through photographers’ notes and correspondence, revealing the stories behind some of the most recognised photographs of the Royal Family.

Groups can also enjoy exclusive after-hours access to The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, including a 30-minute talk, followed by a self-guided tour.

The exhibition takes place at The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace until 6 October 2024 – click here for more information and tickets.
