Roadchef has overhauled its Captain’s Club loyalty scheme as coach travel returns to the roads following the COVID pandemic. The nationwide scheme – which has over 3,000 members so far – has benefitted from an upgraded and easy to navigate app, along with lots of new offers and personalised rewards for drivers bringing passengers to Roadchef sites.

Drivers who are already members of the scheme can add points to their account simply by scanning the app or their card at any catering, retail or grocery outlet on site, while new drivers can join free of charge by completing a form online on the Roadchef website. Cards will continue to be accepted for those drivers who prefer to operate in the more traditional way.

In addition, drivers are able to build up points by bringing larger numbers of passengers to the site. The company is offering a minimum of 1,000 loyalty points (equivalent to £10) for 20 or more passengers, or 500 points (equivalent to £5) for five to 19 passengers, resulting in up to £10 or £5 worth of points to spend in any of Roadchef’s catering outlets including McDonald’s, Costa Coffee, Fresh Food Cafe, Chozen Noodle, Restbite, Hot Food Co. or The Cornish Bakery.

Mark Fox, Roadchef CEO says: “We are very excited to relaunch our Captain’s Club loyalty scheme which is designed to improve the customer experience. Coach drivers are a hugely important group to us, and we want to make sure we treat them as such, rewarding them for coming back to us time and again. We already have a huge network of drivers who are members of the club and we hope to grow this even further with the continued addition of new promotions, offers and discounts.”
