Following CTA contact with Sheringham Chamber of Trade, we have now had a positive response from North Norfolk District Council regarding future arrangements for coach parking in Cromer and Sheringham.

The council has confirmed that its amendments to parking spaces is just a temporary arrangement and it will be monitoring demand for coach facilities on a weekly basis throughout the summer. Moving forward, the Council is keen to encourage reduced pollution and congestion and hope that in the months ahead, things can start returning to normal giving more people the confidence to continue using group travel options.

For those operators who are planning trips to Sheringham and/or Cromer in the weeks ahead, the District Council is asking them to make contact direct about their requirements for a coach bay so that best use can be made of the car park for both coaches and car-borne visitors.

Operators are invited to contact Janet Quinton – jan.quinton@north-norfolk.gov.uk or Karl Read – karl.read@north-norfolk.gov.uk who would be happy to assist with these arrangements.
