Pre-event visit and overnight at Park Head hotel, The Auckland Project – for coach tour operators and wholesalers. Includes visit to Auckland Castle on Sun 28 Jan at 09.00. (Bookings now full for this.)

Arrivals by midday for those attending the Fam trip

12.30  – Fam trip departs hotel for lunch at Holiday Inn, Newcastle Jesmond, followed by coach and walking tour of Newcastle, including brewery. (Late-comers can join the group at Brinkburn St Brewery at approx 16.00.)

19.00 – Pre-dinner Reception including Local Attractions Showcase

20.00 –  Networking Dinner at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Suite. After-dinner speaker Brendan Sheerin and table magic by Paul Lytton.

09.00 – CTA ‘Meet the Buyer’ Workshop – One-to-One meetings for Suppliers, Operators and Wholesalers  – Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Suite

12.30 – Networking lunch with CTA Partner displays

14.00 – 16.00 CTA Conference session. Speakers: Lyndsey Swift, VisitBritain/VisitEngland; Carol Southall, Staffordshire Business School; and Ian Thomas, Newcastle Gateshead Initiative

18.00 – First coach transfer to Discovery Museum for evening reception and dinner

18.20-18.40  – Arrive at Discovery Museum, includes tour of Newcastle Story Gallery

19.00 – Reception and Networking Dinner. After-dinner entertainment Glen Roughead

22.30-23.00 – Coach transfer to Hilton Newcastle Gateshead

09.00 – Coaches depart for Fam trips – two options (either Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland or Raby Castle, County Durham)

13.00-14.00 – Coaches return to Newcastle

17.00 Post-event cruise to Amsterdam of DFDS – complimentary for coach tour operators and wholesalers (Returns Thu 1 Feb)
