The Classic Cambridge tour is a two-hour guided walking tour led by a highly-trained and experienced Blue or Green Badge Guide. This tour covers the rich history of Cambridge city and University at a comfortable pace and allows time for entry into one or more of the famous central colleges.
It will cover the historic heart of the city including the golden Corpus Clock; the formal and ceremonial centre of the University, The Senate House and Old Schools; stunning colleges such as King’s, Corpus Christi and Trinity, and the Old Cavendish Laboratory, home of world-changing scientific discoveries. Participants will learn about student life and pranks, see well-known landmarks and hear fascinating insights from more than 800 years of University history. The tour is led by the highly trained and entertaining Guides who love to share their inside knowledge of Cambridge and are ready to help you make the most of your time in our lovely city.
* Entrance into the beautiful riverside Queens’ College and 14th century Pembroke College will be included if available.
