The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall is welcoming groups this Spring as well as looking ahead to events later in the year. Mindful of coach operator requirements, the impressive garden attraction near Mevagissey is also ready to help plan product for next year’s brochures.

This month, the National Collection of Heligan’s Camellias and Rhododendrons around the Northern Gardens are flourishing into a hue of cerise pink, including the renowned spectacle of the Rhododendrons on Flora’s Green. Meanwhile, May is the time to delve deeper into the estate and explore the Lost Valley and its bluebell display.

During the peak summer months, the outer fields on the estate burst into life and turn into a haven for wildlife and insects, creating the perfect habitat for butterflies and bumblebees, with The Flower Garden boasting spectacular floral highlights. Come the autumn, the Heligan Estate is transformed for harvest, focussing on the traditional principles of farming, food provenance, sustainability, taste, and seasonality.

Events at Heligan take place year round – you can find out more here – while for coach tour operators planning ahead for 2025 and 2026, group rates are now available upon request. Details on group benefits can be found on the website, or to find out more, contact Groups Coordinator, Carol Barrett on e-mail: carol.barrett@heligan.com.
