As summer arrives, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the private Rothschild walled garden at Eythrope. Legendary in the horticultural world for its gardening excellence and as a haven for traditional techniques that might otherwise be lost, a visit to Eythrope will intrigue, inform and inspire.

The four-acre walled garden, glasshouses and orchard still supply produce to the Rothschild family and now to Waddesdon’s restaurants too. During a tour with our specialist guides, groups will explore the cultivated garden then enjoy a meal inspired by the seasonal produce from Eythrope and prepared by Waddesdon’s in-house chefs. Visitors will also have the chance to purchase produce grown in the gardens and copies of Paradise and Plenty, Lady Mary Keen’s companion guide to the garden.

Take a peek inside the gardens at Eythrope in this short film.

Visits to Eythrope are by guided tour only and run every Wednesday until 13 October. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and include a two-course lunch or afternoon tea in the Manor Restaurant and complimentary admission to the Waddesdon’s grounds.
£50 per person or £45 pp for groups of 10 or more. If you would like your group to enjoy exclusive access, you must book all 20 places on the tour. To book, email: Groups@seetickets.com
