Coach Tourism Association members headed down to Brighton for their annual Summer get together and before you could say ‘why is that deckchair so big’ they were looking down on the resort from a great height, thanks to a flight on the British Airways i360.

Still, it was just as well the chair was as big as a BA first class seat, as it could comfortably hold new board members, from second left: Dave Parry, Parrys International; Paula Ward, Hilton Hotels; and Andy Day, Wrightsure Services, with the real ‘chair’ John Wales making sure the deckchair didn’t collapse in true seaside comedy fashion.

Delegates had an update on all the latest Brighton news for coach operators from Visit Brighton and the opportunity of meeting Scottish tourist attractions at the annual Visit Scotland workshop held the day after the BBQ, at the Old Ship Hotel, who also sponsored welcome drinks  for delegates on the Sunday evening.

Ends.
