Bournemouth pulled out all the stops to welcome a record number of members for the CTA Winter Networking event on 20-21 November which was based at Marsham Court Hotel. More than 120 delegates took part with over 80 arriving early for a fabulous Fam trip put together by BCP Tourism and City Cruises with support from CoastalBID, which was followed by a welcome reception including local suppliers and drinks kindly provided by new CTA member Brewhouse & Kitchen.

The Fam trip was blessed with some fine November weather and involved a lunch stop at Henning’s and a Christmas Harbour Cruise with City Cruises before heading back to Bournemouth for the Christmas Maritime Market and Bournemouth Christmas Tree Wonderland.

The event provided lots of opportunities for CTA operator and wholesaler members to refresh their Bournemouth programmes. On the Monday morning, members took part in a very productive Supplier Showcase which gave a chance for meetings between buyers and suppliers.

The next CTA event will be the Conference & Workshop which will be held in Belfast on 5-7 February 2023 – details to be available shortly.
